It is quite probably that each game will game off ......

Please no! The scheduling of games all over the weekend is bad enough, but may they never 'game off' whatever time they play Crazy

Here we go again, that old chestnut... Good job I didn't mention AFCW...
(Taking them as one club) they must be unique in having a better record European run than FA Cup run? Boro, Fulham losing finalists in both (I think)...

Do Swindon Town count having a better European run, Anglo Italian Cup Winners, then an FA Cup run?

Commentator tonight said it was first FA Cup tie to be played between two sides both having Albion in their name. Surely that canít be correct.

Great shout and a new pub quiz question is born.
On none of those 4 occasions in the 50s were Doncaster the last Yorkshire side left in (they are this time) - in 1955, York City got to a semifinal replay!

Although Newport County (original version) did reach the European Cup Winners Cup QF, it was in effect only the 3rd round, as there were only 34 sides in the competition. Celtic and Benfica were two of the four clubs that played in a preliminary round, but Newport County joined in Round one.
They also reached three Welsh Cup finals in the days when they could enter both national competitions, winning once.
