Twenty Questions #281 or Reply Privately

Paul - I can't express how good it feels to have to research Everton history in order to obtain that answer. Off for a long shower now Tongue

Meantime Vamos.

This could be ended very quickly depending on contestants train of thought but I'll take that chance............

Would have all been very different if Everton hadn't been forced out of Anfield back in the 1890s. You might even have been a Bluenose now.... Wink

Q: is this connected with the city of Liverpool?

I'm starting to get my doubts about the 20q quiz. First we had the Coventry keep fit girls, then a kiss and now we have to engage into Paddy's line of thoughts. All a bit worrying.

Anyway, well done Paddy. Is whatever we're looking for this time part of a football ground?

Wasn't/isn't there a stand at a North-Western non-league ground nicknamed the "shag stand" due to a piece of graffiti? I seem to remember it mentioned on this board once (possibly by Harley) but can't find anything now.

Anyway, that's my guess: "The Shag Stand".

Thanks Michael. We're all a bit muddled up over here at the moment as you could tell from the decisive election result.

I'd have to answer no to that.

Q - Does the object we're looking for have or used to have wheels?

G - the steam engine on the terraces at the Grbavica Stadion, home of FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo?

Picture below (Europlan - mods please delete if a legal necessity) EDIT BY SJ: Sod that! All you have to do is add http://www.europlan-online.de and give credit. Cracking photo that needs to shared IMHO.

BB - I picked up on it as a possible answer when you said that you had thought of the St. Albans tree, I knew then that there was a good chance.

I'd read of it before (possibly in Jonathan Wilson's 'Behind The Curtain - Travels in Eastern European Football) and then it was featured in the aforementioned Non League Digest. Fantastic isn't it.

MIP - I believe Zeljeznicar were originally a railway team.

Two goals in 1 season, that's better than I ever did in real football.

Željezničar indeed means railway worker as wiki reveals. The ground was in an area of Sarajevo hit hard during the war in Yugoslavia in the 90s.
