Lichtenberg 47 or Reply Privately

A club and ground that will be on the bucket list of many hoppers, but since their recent promotion, it seems some fixtures may be moved from their home ground - this fixture is set for September 15th

Lichtenberg 47's home match against Babelsberg 03 has been moved the Poststadion. L47 haven't completed the barrier around the away supporters area, as required by the NOFV. As the 03 match has a higher security level, the police wouldn't approve the match at Hans-Zoschke.

Last New ground; Berkhamsted, Games in 2019/20 Season; 36, New Grounds this Season; 14, Next scheduled game: tbc

Looks like the above fixture is being played on home turf at the HOWOGE-Arena.

Re: [dottirofhod] Lichtenberg 47 or Reply Privately

I have a rather large group of friends wanting to go to a match when they are in Berlin on 19th October.
They said they were unable to get tickets for Union Berlin so I shown him the Groundhoper app and Lichtenberg 47 are playing that day at the Howoge Arena against Viktoria 1889 Berlin.
There are about 25-30 of them going to Berlin and most of them are likely to want to see a match on the Saturday.
How easy will it be to get tickets and is it straight forward to get to the ground from Berlin centre.
There are other options but they are further away.

Cheers....

No problem getting in for such a fixture, I doubt if there will be 600 in attendance. Magdalenen Strasse on U5 is about a ten minute walk from the ground.

Re: [kirby knitters] Lichtenberg 47 or Reply Privately

I will also be in Berlin with my wife that weekend and we had planned to go to that game however in view of the remarks by Kirby Knitters in WDYG on 6 October now plan to go to Friedrich Ludwig Jahn Sportpark Berlin to see VSG Altglienicke against VfB Germania Halberstadt. Have previously seen Dynamo Berlin there in 2017. They would not give me a visa in 1971 to watch Cardiff City there.
Top of the Nordost table Hertha 11 are home on the Sunday (will be there) with plenty of games in the Berlin Liga which I also enjoy.

F-L-J-S due to come down in July and funding to the tune of 160 million euros has been set aside to build the replacement but a problem has arisen on will it be ready for the Special Olympics in 2023? If not it is anyone's guess as to what will happen. No wonder people were unsure of where Dynamo will be playing next season when I enquired on Sunday!

Stasi museum is opposite and worth a visit. I like Lichtenberg, it's a cracking venue.

Thanks both
Agree really like visiting there. Have been 3 times. Have also visited the interesting Stasi Museum.

My wife likes Berlin so we visit at least once a year. Some interesting stadiums and have no problem with revisits there.
