Q: Is the club in question allowed to wear one or more "stars" on their kit when playing outside of the Fußball-Bundesliga?

Not that I'm aware of but to be honest you'd need to clarify why a club might be allowed to wear such stars before I give a definite answer.

Not that I'm aware of but to be honest you'd need to clarify why a club might be allowed to wear such stars before I give a definite answer.

The wearing of a star outside of the Bundesliga would indicate that the club had won the Bundesliga "league championship". The wearing of a star (or stars) in a Bundesliga match would indicate that the club had won the "league title". Just a "round about manner" of narrowing the search. Wink

I've found reference to it and was right to be cautious but the answer is "No".

As a complete aside and not a clue, I was working in London this week so "popped" down the Lane for the Carling Cup game. That Pavlyachenko looks to be an awesome player and really intelligent at finding space in the penalty area.

I think Pav' is an excellent buy. We're just getting him used to the premiership so that Man Ure can have him off us for £30M in 2 years time. Crazy

Do the team in question play in green shirts when at home?

I think Pav' is the buy of the season but unfortunately Gomes isn't. We may have been better with Gomes Adams but the reserve keeper Cesar, looks shorter than Robert Green.

Talking of Green they do play in Green at home.

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done Nico, it is "my German team" FC Sachsen of Leipzig who I had the pleasure of watching at their own stadium, the Alfred Kunze Sportpark, in the suburb of Leutszsch, to the west of the centre for a pre-season game rather than at the cavernous Zentral Stadion where they play League games. After promotion last term it is a tough start for them in Regionallia Nord this term as they are currently in the bottom four, having lost 1 - 0 at home this afternoon to the starngelyanglicised "FC Unchartered Territory".

Off you go Nico.
