Carling Cup no more.	Can't Post or Reply Privately

The Football League has announced that the Carling Cup will be renamed to the Capital One Cup for the 2012/13 to 2016/17 seasons.

The competition will provide the curtain raiser to the new domestic season as the first round matches will be played in the week commencing August 13, ahead of the 2012/13 Championship / /F L campaign starting on August 18.

The draw for the first round of the 2012-13 season will be announced on June 14th. The final is scheduled to take place at Wembley on February 24th, 2013.
