Paget did apply but obviously not accepted, their ground was the old Gas Ground I believe.

Lichfield already have the wiring in and bases for the floodlights which are expected to be finished in the next few weeks. They have enclosed the ground and hard-standing footings dug out, two seated kit stands will be situated on the side where the dugouts previously stood.
Blackwood will play at Highgate, the arrangement has been in place for some months as per the new F.A. rules.
Littleton had funding in place and permission granted for floodlights, not sure if they have started on them yet.

How sad to see atherstone back in the mid comb,they are a good club fanbase wise anyway.its where they started after the demise of united.seem to have been beset by financial problems for years.a real shame.

A few answers -
Barnt Green Spartak have been brought back by GJ Singh who ran them previously, they will be groundsharing with Pilkington.
Paget Rangers and Moor Green will both be playing in the Birmingham AFA, the former at the Gas Ground and the latter at Shirley Town. They were both unsuccessful I was told because clubs had complained that Division One and Two had too many clubs and as they were new clubs and little was known about the people involved they were asked to re-apply again next season.
I think Coventry Spires may be one to watch, they play at the former Coventry Spartans ground which has had a lot of work done to it by the new owner who was formerly associated with Massey Ferguson and also Copsewood.
The constitution was agreed by clubs last Wednesday and only one club voted against.

I can't think of a single reason why Southam would kick up a fuss? I was expecting it to be a D1 club (with lights) expecting promotion but not getting it or something like that. Southam, if true, is baffling me!

If Barnt Green Spartak are groundsharing with Pilkington XXX, what's happening to Earlswood Town who shared there last year?

I thought I'd read somewhere on the net that Spartak were going to groundshare @ Northfield Town ..... was that just a rumour, then?

I was told the Southam Chairman stood up and objected to the increase in the number of clubs in the Premier, perhaps he thought the extra ones would reduce his own prospects of promotion!

Just checked their Twitter page, the ground is Coventry Amateurs ground at Westwood Heath, Spires are keeping a 2nd XI in the Stratford League so I wonder what has happened to Coventry Amateurs of the Stratford League. I was lead to believe Spartans were in theory a new club formed by some former members of Amateurs.

I imagine that Coventry Amateurs are the reserve team of Coventry Spartans who play almost across the road from Spires on the floodlit University pitch.
As far as I know Spartans was just a name change but will try to find out more

According to last season's programme 'The club previously known as Coventry Amateurs etc' .......'the club has been running for four years'

Interesting that there is no mention of a second team although on the Committee page it does say - Manager 1st team.
