Sennybridge Can't Post or Reply Privately

Sennybridge have announced that they have withdrawn from the Mid Wales League (South) with immediate effect. The club pulled out of Saturday's scheduled fixture at Presteigne St Andrews Reserves with less than two hours to kick-off. The fixtures for the remainder of October involving Sennybridge will no longer go ahead and the results of those games played by Sennybridge will be taken out of the league table. The Breconshire club were previous champions of the league and had also lifted the Central Wales Football Association's highly prestigious Emrys Morgan Cup in 1993/94.

It looks like they may have risen from the ashes.Just the start of the article below so don't know whether they will be aiming for a return to the Mid Wales (South).Perhaps someone with access to a paper copy of the B & R Express could enlighten us?

I purchased that particular edition of the Brecon & Radnor Express, having seen the headline about Sennybridge, although it appears they will not definitely return for the coming season. Several former players and officials attended a meeting on Sunday 3rd June but there is still a lot of work to do before Sennybridge makes a return. The club do not know how many players might be interested in resurrecting the Breconshire team, particularly with Brecon Corries and Brecon Town vying for local players, but probably more will be known after the Mid Wales League (South) AGM takes place tomorrow evening.

Sennybridge will be returning to the Mid Wales League (South), following last Monday's league AGM, in addition to Llanidloes Town Reserves. The Daffs returned from the Montgomeryshire Amateur League, after the Spar Mid Wales League were unable to form a Reserve Division, whilst Hay St Mary's are promoted to the Spar Mid Wales League Second Division.
