I was in the crowd at Birmingham NIA in 2007 when Amy Winehouse gave the concert from hell..Steaming drunk!

I saw her at the Hammersmith Apollo, was dragged along there by the missus but have to admit Amy was fantastic

I was also dragged along and to be fair everything was going well and it was most enjoyable but then all of a sudden she started ranting on about god no's what and the night was ruined. There was talk about many people demanding refunds but i have no idea if any were issued.

Buster and Bad Manners are currently on tour in Scotland

Oh great......glad to hear that. Buster was fantastic when I saw them in Bath in the early '80's. As were all the Ska/two- tone of that era. I saw Specials, The Beat , Selecter, Madness and Bad Manners ...all great gigs. Energetic and Edgy with the constant threat of violence hanging in the air......

Glad I was wrong about thst one....I thought I'd read it somewhere that he'd died.

Just looked at a few concerts that I went to in the late 1960s and early 1970s and found the list was very large, as below. If I covered everybody that I have seen I think that the list of dead musicians that I have seen would be in the 100s –
Tom Ashton [Family]
Pete Banks [Boldwyn Pig]
Pete Bardons [Camel]
Joe Cocker
Mick Cooper [Heaven & Overlanders]
Dennis Cowan [Bonzo Dog]
Rick Danco [Band]
Brian Davison [Nice]
Sandy Denny [Fairport Convention]
John Entwistle [The Who]
Andy Fraser [Free]
Ric Grech [Family]
Eddie Harnett [Heaven]
Richie Havens
Levon Helm [Band]
Dorris Henderson [Eclection]
Adrian Henri [Liverpool Scene]
Bert Jansch
Brian Kemp [Heaven]
Jim King [Family]
Paul Kossoff [Free]
Trevor Lucas [Eclection]
Richard Manuel [Band]
Keith Moon [The Who]
Noel Redding [then in Fat Mattress]
John Renbourn [Pentangle]
Brian Rendlenon [Pretty Things]
Viv Stanshall

Yep saw Blodwyn Pig opening for Led Zeppelin in 69 , didn't go down awfully well in Manc although unsure whether Banks was onstage , no prog or notes !
Another group were on the bill as well, unusual in them days for 3 bands on one concert with one upcoming star band ?
Or did it happen more often than I recollect ?

Forgot.. I also saw Gene Pitney at Bradford St Georges Hall, only about three days before he died.
I've always felt guilty for killing him, perhaps that's why I tried to erase it from my memory.

Don't think I have an exhaustive list, a few I can think of below...
I've not really seen bands from the 60s/early 70s. my 1st gig was in 1979, 'The Members' at the Lyceum/London. Then I saw Abba at Wembley Arena that year, weird that I liked New Wave/Punk but also liked Abba, and still do!

Stuart Adamson - Big Country
Saxa - The Beat

2019-20 - 32 games, last Loughborough Foxes v Nottm Forest Women 10/10, goals 101, avgpg 3.15, new grounds 9. Last - Loughborough University 10/10.
New Grounds in 2019 - 22. 2018 - 44. 2017 -44. Grounds in Total - 1215.
RL Grounds - 34 (Last - Craven Park, Barrow - 8/9/19), Speedway Tracks 50.

First saw the late, great Stuart Adamson playing with The Skids, then many times with BC.

Others include...
Joe Strummer (The Clash & The Pogues)
David Bowie (Sound & Vision Tour, probably the worst gig I've been to!)
Alvin Stardust
Les Gray (Mud)
Danny & Clarence (E Street Band)
Freddie Mercury (Magic Tour at Wembley and Knebworth)
Michael Hutchence
Joe Cocker

Here's just a few that I can recall. I think they're all dead.

Count Basie
Duke Ellington
Ella Fitzgerald
Jimmy Smith
Ray Charles
Dave Brubeck
Ted Heath
Billy Cotton
Humphrey Littleton
Ottilie Patterson
Milt Jackson, John Lewis, Percy Heath and Connie Kay
Dave Lambert (the other two in the trio are still alive)
John Lennon
George Harrison
Freddie Garrity
Adam Faith

and a rather famous person who was compere at the Beatles concert - Jimmy Saville

I know there are many more; the names will probably come to me some time.
