The totalrl.com forum suggests both Beverley and Queensbury are to join for 2018.

Update: it looks as though the NCL management committee has recommended the inclusion of Beverley for 2018. It will now (I think) go to a vote of member clubs. Queensbury, it would appear, have withdrawn their application.

Beverley play at the East Riding Leisure Centre (ERLC). That is not the venue the club used during their earlier spell in the NCL. The ERLC pitch is on the small side (but nowhere near as odd as Barrow Island's). Be interesting to see if Beverley relocate (or are obliged to relocate) for the 2018 season. I imagine they would prefer not to because the pub, the Potting Shed, that acts as their HQ is adjacent to the ERLC pitch. Great view of the action from the beer garden and balcony!

Blackbrook have been given the all-clear to continue in the NCL in 2018. The St Helens club failed to fulfil their final two fixtures last season. As a result, they are demoted from Division One to Three. The linked article provides more on Beverley and Queensbury (see above).
