Saturday 27th October 2018 (14:30), KCOM Stadium, Hull

Saturday 3rd November 2018 (14:30), Anfield, Liverpool
Sunday 11th November 2018 (15:00), Elland Road, Leeds

Happy the choices at Liverpool and Leeds given their large capacities, but opening at a 25,000 capacity stadium at the end of the M62 rather than one of the big London stadiums is a big surprise. Will certainly be going to Anfield, may give Hull a miss and likely to be at Leeds as well.

Since the RFL are building a presence in the Midlands maybe Coventry should have been included instead of one of the other stadiums.

Butts Park Arena is not fit to hold such high profile games.Sly

Might see about doing the Liverpool Test. Watched plenty of football at Anfield, but never RL.

Do you think omitting a big London stadium reflects the Kiwis not being the force they were? Or has the RFL decided the Olympic Stadium experiment backfired?

Not surprised Coventry (the Ricoh - rather than Butts Park - Arena) hasn't been chosen. Wasn't a great crowd there last time, was it?

Total crowd for the double header was 21,009 according to Wiki which wasn't bad at all on (an extremely cold) Bonfire Night. Given the RFL's investment in Coventry's "City of Rugby" initiative, it is a little bit of a surprising omission.

The two games at the Olympic Stadium drew 45,000 and 35,000 - the latter being on a Sunday with a VERY late venue announcement - so were hardly a disaster. I would have liked the RFL to have had a bash at getting 40,000+ for an opening game at Wembley/Spurs/Arsenal/West Ham rather than the seemingly safe option of Hull.

Given New Zealand's failure at the WC there is a possibility that Anfield might be too large to host a test.

Over 40,000 attended the Australia-New Zealand game last year so any shortfall in NZ's lack of quality will surely be made up by the fact that England will be playing this time.
