Colden Common 4-4 Liss Athletic in Hants lge today.

Nothing overly mad in that.

What is mad is that was also the half time score

Life's not getting any easier for Cromer Town, it seems:

Mundford 10 Cromer Town 0

Nice to see Cromer get their first win today, meanwhile staying in carrot crunching County.

Martham 27- 0 Horsford
But not all good news for Martham, their ressies lost 15-0 to Beccles ressies

Horsford suffered a 21-0 home defeat today to fellow strugglers Wells Town.

They played at Wells today, 32-0. Getting silly now

They must be improving. Only 12-0 yesterday, albeit against the team second from bottom who had only won one League game prior.

Half time at Scraley Road , Heybridge.

Heybridge Swifts 7-0 Romford

Romford made the mistake of pulling a goal back in the second half whereupon Heybridge hit them with two more almost immediately.

Half time at Scraley Road , Heybridge.

Heybridge Swifts 7-0 Romford

When they were reading out the half time scores at Ramsbottom last night, they finished by saying, "Its not a game we'd normally bothering mentioning, but Heybridge Swifts are leading Romford 7-0"

0-15 at home to Holt United yesterday, seems they aim to see this season out as best possible and regroup for next season.

Watford FC supporter hence the name also follow Hull FC but rarely get to see either these days.

Have now visited over 800 grounds, progress in recent years has been rather slow and will continue to be as things stand.

In the last couple of months Fylde have turned in wins of 6-0 v Macc, 5-2 v Tranmere and now 7-1 v Shots....and even though Tranmere beat them 4-1 at Prenton Park a week before the 5-2, many Rovers fans were saying they're the one of the best teams to have visited us.

Three massively impressive results but, interestingly, all against three of the better footballing teams in the division. Seems they're less effective against other styles. Still, a good bet to make the playoffs and, if they do, a team to avoid, I think.

I spotted a 6-6 draw in the East Lancs League Reserves Division:

Rimington Reserves 6 Grindleton Reserves 6

The home side were 4-1 up at one stage.

What's the highest score draw on record?? I can't think of any higher than 6-6 off the top of my head...

The highest I can remember being reported here was 10-10, though it only seems to get a mention of the end of 90 minutes score of 8-8 here.

There was another 10-10 in a Surrey County Cup game that I posted about a few years ago on here, can't remember who was involved though!

Boreham Wood's 2-1 win against Tranmere yesterday hardly qualifies as a mad result (and, by all accounts, they were very good - keep an eye on them for promotion) but the attendance warrants a mention. On the face of it, nothing remarkable about a gate of 801 with 392 away fans....except that both these figures are identical to those of last season's fixture!
