Happy Christmas to you too, Jon. And everyone else on the forum, and here's hoping everyone gets to a match tomorrow.

I'm presently halfway through twelve consecutive days of 12-hour night-shifts at work - sat in a swivel chair, drinking tea, eating biscuits, listening to Steely Dan and scrolling through the forum. All on double-time, which'll hopefully pay for a holiday to York next month and the ticking of Bootham Crescent! Who said Christmas was over-rated?! Laugh

I would like say that jon b, oxpete and windydcfc are all true gentlemen and a credit to this forum. Unlike buncranaboy, whose idea of Xmas goodwill was to send me a highly critical PM on Xmas Eve claiming that it wasn't obvious to him that my post about the drone (and, more specifically, about a cat being theoretically killed as part of Schrodinger's theory) had been tongue in cheek!

They weren't obvious to a lot of us - we thought that you had posted seriously and only decided it was tongue in cheek when people commented on your post.

Anyway, I see that you too cannot generate the goodwill yourself.

So to Buncranaboy, greenwood, job B, oxpete, windydcfc and everyone not mentioned already in this post I would like to wish a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year

This thread is missing the prosaic verbosity issued forth in Garth's previous
years' efforts in his not so perfect 'Wanglish'.

Miss you Garth... Smile

I also miss Garth - it's sad that some people on here mocked him for his poor written English. It could be that he is dyslexic, but regardless of the reason, he should have been treated with more respect.

I miss Gareth too. I know he posted some stuff that seemed strange or pointless. All people needed to do was ignore him, if they didn’t like what he was posting. People with superior intellect ganging up on him & making him react was just bullying.

Agree with you there, except that I would not describe the bullies as being people of superior intellect.

There was nothing imaginary about the people who bullied Gareth. Their posts were never deleted and are still on this forum for all to see.

Here's me thinking it's a holiday and we would get a break from you turning every thread you can into a look at the nasty bullies on the forum one.
Leo and myself are quite honestly tired of devoting so much time to your grievances and threats of "further action" by PM. I suggest you take a break from the forum as it upsets you so much. Well actually it isn't a suggestion.

Re: [buncranaboy] Happy Christmas! [In reply to] Can't Post or Reply Privately

Okay can we end the hilarity now please.

Whatever reincarnation re-appears as soon as it is confirmed the account will be deleted. On deleting an account I have a checkbox option to delete all posts made by the account. I will be ticking that checkbox.

I do not see why this particular forum user or any other forum user feels he or she or gender neutral person (to comply with todays pc climate) can circumvent bans by making multiple accounts and simply carrying on as before. If you get a ban you just see it out then you're re-enabled on the forum and it's forgotten.

Perhaps it's my fault as I knew early on what was going on but let it pass simply because I am really reluctant to stop people posting on the forum that want to post here. However you people don't see the PMs and the emails that go on in the background to myself and to Leo and copies of these that we are sent that have been received by other forum users.

So lets move on and if there is a 10th or 11th ressurection please do let me know so I can take action. I hope that is the end of this topic.

Thanks.... Steve
