I think this is the newish 3G at Lockleaze. Very smart.

I have heard that it is possible that the first league match may be taking place sometime in nov. with a 16.00 ko to allow Reserve players to attend. Hoping to find out more tonight at Lebeq, if my reliable source is there.

Quote from the above reliable source; hopefully on the 17th November at 16.00.

Fantastic news the stadium development is now taking place and the Hornets will have a home once again. It's disappointing the spectator facilities look quite primitive, however and may yet require extension or further development within just a couple of years to cater for the crowds and fans wishing to watch matches a) undercover and b) with a decent view, rather than on flat, concrete surrounds.

A 307 seat main stand, what looks like another small seated area and some cover behind one goal seems a decent start to me. In their situation surely getting back to their hometown is the priority, it's been a long and rocky road. It would be good to think that expansion will be required at some point, but first things first.

Rockleaze Rangers
Having read the directions from pitch 63 and the comments from others, I don't think this is where Rockleaze Rangers are playing. I am fairly certain that the new Hillside Gardens location is close to the junction of Filton Road (I have found 3 Filton Roads so far!) and Common Mead Lane, the entrance to Frenchay Cricket Club and the Bristol Golf Centre is in Common Mead Lane. Best postcode is BS16 1QG
If you use Google street view you will see the portacabins being used for construction and a sign clearly linking this to UWE. Full time has the match down for 15:00 Saturday 17th against Broadwell Amateurs. Hope this might save someone from going to the wrong place.
Pictures on their twitter show two pitches and cover between them :-

On a recent National Express coach trip to Bristol, I noticed this new ground with an area of cover between two 3G pitches as the coach approached Bristol, soon after leaving the M4. However, I'm not absolutely certain that this was where the postcode BS16 1QG suggests.
There was a rugby ground with an impressive new-looking stand on the other side of the road.

By the way, Brentford's new stadium under construction can also be very clearly seen from the coach as it goes along the elevated section of the M4 in west London.

You seem to be correct, but sticky list of 3G's on WAYG section (under 'Planned') says Coldharbour Lane. I'm sure you will amend that in due course.

(Edit; under Gloucs County League you have correct address of Hillside Gardens while, 'Old Filton Road' is actually just 'Filton Road'. I am assuming Google Maps is correct, although their satellite photo is out of date.)

Widnes (Evostik West) returning to the cavernous Widnes Vikings 13,000 capacity stadium on Monday 17th December for their Liverpool Cup Match.

The pitch has been relaid and now meets League standards.

Their usual attendance of 60ish will be increased as they are playing City of Liverpool who will probably bring about 300.

From experience last year itís not much fun to watch at the Stadium. Unless they now have ball boys large amounts of time are spent retrieving balls from the various stands around the pitch. Itís a great ground to waste time if you need to. Atmosphere is non existent.

Can't find official confirmation, but it does look likely that Dudley Town will be at York Road, former home of Oldbury United, next season. They are playing Worcester City in a friendly there on 7th July.
Dudley Town are off on their travels again! Leaving York Road and moving into the Aspray Arena home of Sporting Khalsa. Dudley twitter advises Better for us, great facility @SportingKhalsa Commercially not great @ York Rd, and operational issues caused us problems.
See https://twitter.com/DudleyTownFC
Doubt it will help with crowds, not that they get hundreds watching, but at least they shouldn't have many off as it's 3G at Khalsa now.

In the Eastern Senior League North, Needham Market Res have played their two most recent league games at the new 4G ground next door to the first team ground. Don't know if this is now the permanent arrangement or if these two games were shifted because of the weather.

This is a permanent arrangement, when I visited back in October the dressing rooms were still being built but I was told once ready all reserve games would be on the 4G.

Watford FC supporter hence the name also follow Hull FC but rarely get to see either these days.

Have now visited over 800 grounds, progress in recent years has been rather slow and will continue to be as things stand.

Thanks for this. However, I've just seen a tweet from the club from yesterday which says "Canít confirm any as it normally depends on the weather if the main one is waterlogged then sometimes will be moved across". Problem is, the tweet it's replying to (from a Mr Incenzo) is protected but it does look like they're talking about this topic.

As with my previous reply I can go on what I was told albeit not from an official source. But my understanding is that the dressing room complex next to is required for Thurlow Nunn games to be on the 4G but obviously this in itself wouldn't guarantee games to be played on the 4G but it would appear a lot of extra expense for an alternative pitch for the reserves to use sometimes. That said it is already in use by some of Needham Market's other sides.

Per Full Time Sungate FC have taken over Newham United's ground (at least for the rest of this season) following that club's resignation. Assuming it's permanent, Ilford Wanderers RFC (their old ground) is another ground that I've missed,.
