Anyone know if this is all still accurate. i.e. Teesside demoted?

I would have thought so as it was only released two months ago and it's the list for the 2013-14 season.
At the moment the 2013-14 FA handbook isn't online. When it is, that will confirm everything.

That is the correct list, issued by the FA and valid for the 2013/14 season - supplied to leagues to be printed in handbooks etc etc

What up-&-coming leagues; if there are any; are waiting in the wings with their ducks not yet in a row, preparing for step7 ratification?

I think Lincolnshire have serious aspirations but they will have to disguise all the reserve teams first !

Disgracefully Wiltshire manage to retain this status with all their disguised reserves and some of the other full Step 7 leagues astonish me when one of the very best (West Lancs) is only 7A.

I have a good idea about what every ground in the WLL Premier at least (except Crooklands Casuals) looks like and its hard to believe they are 7A when the Liverpool County Premier which consists of a lot of pitches, is Step 7! Shocked

The only grading requirements at step 7, apart from a roped off pitch, are for the players and officials so the appearance of the ground can be deceiving.

Yes have got serious aspirations, even though we only have a slightly higher reserve team ratio than one step 6 division Crazy

In fairness to Liverpool the grounds are getting better, the last 2 I've done have even had a rail!

Staffs County League has 7 reserves / pseudos in it's top division. There is a lack of Saturday football played in this area. Looks like teams prefer to play Sunday football as in many areas of the Midlands.

Last ground visited(update requested by Spud): Wellington . New grounds 18/19: 38

My two ticks in the LCPL weren't bad. Old Holts fully railed and Aigburth P.H a very nice tick, railed down 2 and rope down the other.

No mention of the Mercian league in any of the three lists?

Guess they have been awarded step 6 status then Wink

I did wonder this myself.

Has the Mercian league disappeared into the pyramid netherworld?

It sits below the West Midlands (Regional) League Division Two - so the Mercian Premier is at notional Step 9.

They're at Levels 13-15, feeding the West Midlands (Regional) League.

Other than previous step 7 leagues, Lincs Lge, Mercian Lge & Devon & Exter Lge, are there any other leagues which have applied for step 7 but not got it?

Mercian League has never been step 7 and I am pretty sure it's predecessor the Shropshire County League never was either.

There's quite a number who have lost step 7 status.

Sorry my question may have been badly worded. What I meant is other than the leagues I've named and those which were previously at step 7 are there any which have applied for step 7 but not been successful?

it is showing West Sussex as being at Step 7, which they are not - have they every been?

Yes officially they were - up until the beginning of last season.

However they never operated at Step 7 despite the status - as they fed the Sussex Co League Div Three - also at Step 7.
