The second round draw (June 2) is now showing on the address shown above.
There is still one first round game at Etoile Bobigny to be played this Sunday, while one game may be waiting an FFF decision.

I leave it to the expert (Gricehead) to let us know more - and in the meantime I have renamed this part of the thread for next season!

The wiki pages for the 19-20 qualifying rounds can be found at https://en.wikipedia.org/...e_Preliminary_Rounds

As Leo said, we've completed the first round in Paris-IdF now, with a total of 360 entrants from the current season's district league divisions (level 9 and below). There's no evidence of any byes being given (backed up by there being a late fixture added between two teams who appealed their lack of appearance in the original draw). Hopefully the final set of penalties will be published today and, subject to appeals, the second round draw will be set apart from the Bobigny match and the Vauxoise/Villeneuve-la-Garenne abandonment.

Round 2 sees the Regional divisions enter, with most likely all of R3 and R2 and some of R1 by league position (I've not validated this yet). There's usually a few byes to make the numbers work in future rounds, although that's a bit hit and miss until promotion and relegation between the National divisions is fully resolved.

The only other mainland league that has declared it will have a round of qualifying games before the summer break is Grand Est, where there will be games on either 8/9 or 15/16 June. Entries closed a couple of weeks ago, so the draw should be imminent.

For most of the mainland, entries close on 15 June and the first round is in August.

Overseas, we're into the second round (to be played this weekend) in Mayotte, where a total of 65 clubs have entered (up from last year as discussed at the end of last year's thread). We've already lost three R1 teams, including previous qualifiers Foudre 2000 and ASC Abeilles.

In Réunion entries are up from 38 to 42. The competition started at the second round to align rounds with other leagues, and this was played between 20 R2 teams (selected by league position at the time of the draw) in April. The remaining R2 and all R1 clubs join the next round which is played the first weekend in June.

Do you know what has happened about the Vauxoise/Villeneuve-la-Garenne abandonment?
Is it due to be replayed?
Tempted as I am about Etoile Bobigny, it seems a long drive for Departmental Division 5. I would say I would not do that level where I stay, but then the lowest level in Orne is Departmental DIvision 4 - and Pays de Belleme do not appear to have completed the season (again)

Nothing other than it was 1-1 when it was stopped. Still trawling for sources. Will see what the competitions committee produce this afternoon.

Round 2 shows as 133 fixtures, with 179 of the first round winners (Someone gets a bye - no idea who at this stage! - EDIT FC Romainville from D1) and 87 new entries from the Regional divisions.

New entries by division:
R1 (6) - 22 (of possible 22)
R2 (7) - 35 (of possible 36)
R3 (8) - 30 (of possible 30)

Round 1 winners by division:
D1 (9) - 29
D2 (10) - 58
D3 (11) - 49
D4 (12) - 28
D5 (13) - 9
D6 (14) - 4

(9) or (13) - 1
(10) or (13) - 1

Today's competitions committee reported on nine forfeits (three where the away team did not turn up) and on the somewhat farcical-sounding non-kick-off of the Entente Pays du Limours / FC La Verrière tie. Nothing on the ES Vauxoise/Amicale Villeneuve-la-Garenne abandonment, however. There remain six unexplained forfeits.

Also confirmed is the constitution of the second round draw, being 133 ties and a bye for FC Romainvillers.

Fixtures for Round 1 in Grand Est have been published - all 351 of them. Those in Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne take place nominally on 9th June, with Alscce on 16th June.

I may not get them all up on the wiki page in time, especially as the fixtures site only has the Champagne-Ardenne ties on it at the moment, so here's the PDF version: https://lgef.fff.fr/...s/14/2019/05/CF1.pdf

Vauxoise/Villeneuve-la-Garenne will be replayed on 30th May. Still no clue as to why.

Copying from the French Regional Cups thread, where I said:

Quote
One of the matches on 16th June (Mauloise v Courdimanche) is a replay of an abandoned match from 2nd June.

The novel reason for abandonment of the original game appears to be that a player of the home team crashed into a goalpost during play, breaking the goalpost, which couldn't be fixed. The well being of the player is not referenced.

The 2nd round in Paris-IDF has also had a game forfeited because the pitch wasn't marked out (not as unusual as you might think) and a game not played because only one player from the away team and none of the home team turned up. The latter saw both teams eliminated from the competition, so once again the Ligue de Paris-IDF will have their calculators out again to work out if an intermediate round will be required.

These, I assume explain the two games missing a result

Eaubonne v Chambourcy from Thursday and Fertois Boissy v Vitry on Sunday

It does make one think twice about the games on Sunday - three out of four are within reach and two of them would probably allow me to the Parc des Princes after for USA v Chile.

The two missing ones are just late reporting in or late being processed.

The unmarked pitch was at D4 SS Noiseau, and the no-show was D4 AS Val de l'Yerres vs D2 FC Boissy

Is there anything Saturday? I'm moving from Rennes to Paris, so anything roughly in that direction please.
Also do you have details of the games that could be doubled with USA v Chile.
Sorry for asking on this thread, I'm having problems with my phone so Internet is difficult

There are quite a number of French Cup games in Grand Est on Saturday - which is of no use at all if coming from Rennes

For anyone interested, https://www.fff.fr/...1/derniers-resultats
I have not looked at distances as I cannot go, but I imagine it is possible to do two games Saturday and one on Sunday

On Sunday, there are four games in the Paris region (also one tonight) https://www.fff.fr/...1/derniers-resultats

I am still undecided whether to go to one or not. Some can be combined with Parc de Princes for the Coupe de Monde Femmes.

All are listed at 14.30, but then so is the game I saw last Sunday, which was actually 15.00 - so with extra time and penalties, the second game may become difficult

1) Mauloise v Courdimanche - Stade de Radet. Rue De Mareil 78580 Maule
Mauloise play in Departmental 2, Yvelines. The opposition is Departmental 3, Val d'Oise.

2) Jouy le Moutier v Villeneuve la Garen - Stade Des Merisiers. Rue Rossini, 95280 Jouy Le Moutier
JLM play in Depatmental 1, Val d'Oise, VLG who won in the previous round by 8-3 (aet) are at the same level, but in Hauts-de-Seine.

3) Entente du Pays de Limours v ESC XVeme. Stade Vincent Coupet. Route D Arpajon, 91470 Limours. Home side is Departmental 5, Essonne. Visitors same level, but Hauts-de-Seine.

4) Lesigny v Draveil. Stade De Maison Blanche. Route De Maison Blanche,
77150 Lesigny
Lesigny are Departmental 2, Seine et Marne, with visitors from Departmental 2, Essonne.

Location wise, match 1 is the closest to Parc des Princes, although not close enough that the transfer can be done by rail alone - as it is the closest to my base, let me know if you are thinking of going.

In case anyone has significant spare time and disposable income, the first round match in the Saint Pierre and Miquelon mini-qualifying tournament is tomorrow, between the same two teams as last season: AS Saint Pierraise and AS Miquelonnaise. (As a reminder, there are only three teams in the collectivity)

Blast, I cannot get to the airport in time for the next flight, (18.45 off Paris), which only gets me there at 22.15 tomorrow (two changes, Montreal and Halifax)
Surely, it would have been a bargain at £3610 return?

Slightly down on last year, but only single figures. Occitanie is also slightly down, with 446 clubs this year.

At least two regions have extended the deadline for entries to 2 July.

I can't find a second round match scheduled anywhere, and the wording of this article https://la1ere.francetvinfo.fr/...e-france-723228.html also suggests that the first match may have been a one-off. So maybe AS Ilienne Amateurs didn't enter this year and ASM have already qualified?

Either way, the qualifying team will play in the third round again this year, but against a team in or around the Lyon metropolitan area.

I noticed, whilst looking for the highlights of the ASIA-ASM match, that there are a dozen direct weekly flights from Paris to St Pierre during the summer - the first being on 24 June. The operator is ASL Airlines.

Highlights of the first arrival http://mbedftv-a.akamaihd.net/...969a77fc1947015d193e

One of the passengers being interviewed says it's a 5 hour flight. Also because the runway is relatively short the number of passengers on the 737 are restricted to 100.

Sadly, the website says the direct flights run until September 11th.
Last season, the third round of the cup was September 16th

ASIA will be away in the third round (and, I understand, any other round they reach up to and including 6th) clubs from the Lyon metropolitan area have been invited to apply as hosts.

Excuse me for butting in with a different cup, but here is the draw for the first round of the Coupe de la Ligue, scheduled for 13 August (give or take one day).

For this season, there are 5 clubs defined as "Professional" in National, which requires a preliminary round at Bourg-en-Bresse on 26 July
There are six games in the second round, ten in round 3 (introduction of 14 Ligue 1 clubs not in Europe) and 8 games in round 4 (introduction of the other 6 Ligue 1 clubs)

Les rencontres du 1er tour :

Clermont Foot – Havre AC (1)
ESTAC Troyes – RC Lens (2)
Grenoble Foot 38 – Rodez Aveyron Football (3)
Gazélec FC Ajaccio – FC Chambly (4)
Red Star FC – Bourg-en-Bresse 01 ou Quevilly Rouen Métropole (5)
FC Lorient – Le Mans FC (6)
Paris FC – FC Sochaux-Montbéliard (7)
Chamois Niortais – Châteauroux (8)
SM Caen – AS Nancy Lorraine (9)
AC Ajaccio – Valenciennes FC (10)
AJ Auxerre – AS Béziers (11)
US Orléans – EA Guingamp (12)

Blast, I cannot get to the airport in time for the next flight, (18.45 off Paris), which only gets me there at 22.15 tomorrow (two changes, Montreal and Halifax)
Surely, it would have been a bargain at £3610 return?

Laugh

You'll just have to plan ahead and go to the "second round" game in a couple of weeks...

Demonstrating yet again how wrong I can be, ASIA beat ASM 3-0 on Wednesday evening.

FC Lyon (https://www.fff.fr/...lubs/2602/infos-cles) will be the team who host Saint Pierre et Miquelon side ASIA in the third round on 14 September.

This is an interesting development:

http://www.foot-national.com/...utre-mer-121206.html

In Guadeloupe, Martinique and French Guiana, instead of having two teams entering the 7th round, the two teams will play each other for a guaranteed place in the 8th round.

The same will apply for Réunion from 2020-21, but not this season.

No change for Mayotte, Tahiti or New Caledonia.

More information at https://www.footamateur.fr/...ne-au-septieme-tour/

The principal or alternating home/away for Outre Mer clubs continues this season. So the 8th round tie involving the Guadaloupe qualifier will be in Guadeloupe. The 8th round ties involving the Martinique and French Guiana clubs will take place in France, regardless of the order of the 8th round draw. If they are drawn first, or are two or more levels below their drawn opponent, the Outre-Mer team must arrange a suitable venue with a supporting club within 100km of Paris.

There will just two 7th round ties involving mainland clubs travelling overseas: to Réunion and Tahiti. In the 8th round, just one to Guadeloupe (unless the New Caledonian team, or the mainland-visiting Réunion team win in the 7th round). This compares with 5 and 1 respectively in each of the last three seasons.

*not counting Corisca as Overseas, in case there are pedants reading.

After a laptop death, which almost proved disastrous (see below if you're interested) I'm caught up again just in time for the third round this weekend.

The number of qualifiers, by region and tier, can be found at https://docs.google.com/...l0w/edit?usp=sharing

There are 2133 teams - including 9 given byes to round 4, but not including those exempt to round 4. I have not included outre-mer teams in this breakdown (yet).

As at 11/09 there are still 7 qualifiers to be decided due to late games or outstanding committee procedures.

Full draws and results for all regions are at https://en.wikipedia.org/...e_Preliminary_Rounds

Worthy of note: One National 3 team, AC Boulogne-Billancourt, does not seem to have entered the competition. They are not listed as a bye, and do not have a fixture. I can't recall this happening recently, and I thought it was a requirement of playing in the National divisions.

(Dropbox was a lifesaver, but I was only backing files up weekly. A week is a long time when the first two rounds of the CdF are kicking off, but at least it allowed me to re-work and catch up using my wife's laptop whilst I got hold of another one and set it up. From now on I will edit all my files directly from Dropbox rather than keeping local copies and backing up.)

Confirms that the result of my game at Petits Anges was reversed, but they will play away at Eragny on Sunday.
I did not see a first round game in this competition, but saw two in the second round - one at Petits Anges back in June, and then at Soligny Aspres Moulins on September 1st.

I have a couple of options for the third round this week, including a Saturday night game at US Mondeville
Best options for Sunday (within Orne) are Couteille Alencon (who I saw win in the last round), Bouce and Athis

The third round seems to have gone off quite smoothly. I spotted about ten or so National 3 clubs knocked out on the first pass of the results, but I'll have a final figure later this week.

Just five results awaited across the mainland (4 from Brittany and 1 from Paris IDF). Two games still to be played (1 in Pays-de-la-Loire, 1 in Grand Est).

Two matches in Paris IDF declared as "not played" despite originally having scorelines published, including our old friends Petits Anges again.

The game in Grand Est between AF Laxou Sapinière and Toul JCA was abandoned after the home team were reduced to 7 players.

The game in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté between FC Nevers Banlay and CA St Georges was abandoned six minutes from full time after a mass brawl between players of both sides.

Fourth round draws:
tonight - P-IDF, BFC, ARA,
18/9 - PdlL, Britt, Norm, GE
19/9 - CvdL, HdF, Med, Corsica, Occ,
20/9 - NA

In terms of qualifying from the Outre-Mer tournaments, the biggest shock is that Martinique's Aiglon du Lamentin, who made it to the round of 64 in the main competition last season before narrowly losing out to US Orléans, fell at the first qualifying round. The competition in Martinique is down to 16 teams (for two places) and the next round is midweek next week (24/25 September)

And the first qualifier to the seventh round is known: It is A.S. Vénus of Tahiti, who won the Coupe de Tahiti Nui at the weekend. They will participate in the Coupe de France for the first time since 1995.

Excuse me for butting in with a different cup, but here is the draw for the first round of the Coupe de la Ligue, scheduled for 13 August (give or take one day).

The LFP have just announced the scrapping (at least temporarily) of the Coupe de la Ligue from the end of this season, citing market conditions. Understood to be the lack of any TV deal going forwards. The extra European qualifying spot to be handed to Ligue 1 from 2020-21.

Fifth round this weekend. Most of the draw is sorted, just a couple of issues to resolve in Hauts-de-France and Paris-IDF.

Only 66 District teams remain (plus an outside chance of one more from the above), and there are just 5 all-district ties in the fifth round (1 in Occitanie, 4 in Hauts-de-France):

AS Canétoise (10) v US Monoblet (9)
Olympique Maroilles (11) v USAC Somain (10)
Verton FC (9) v USO Meurchin (10)
US Yser (9) v RC Bergues (10)
US Abbeville (9) v AS Beaurains (10)

Three D4 (tier 12) clubs are the lowest ranked to remain in the draw:
AS Kurtzenhouse (Grand Est, Alsace)
ASC Roubaix (Hauts-de-France, Flandres)
AS Bourg-la-Reine (Paris IDF, Hauts-de-Seine)

Unless I have misread a result, it appears that all 18 National 1 (tier 3) teams have progressed into the sixth round.

The match between Roubaix and Beauvais was halted just before half time, when a spectator through a lighter, which hit the assistant referee. ASBO (Association Sportive Beauvais-Oise) had just gone 1-0. The other two surviving tier 12 teams went out.

One National 1 team went out - SC Toulon beaten 3-0 at AS Cannes.

There were two other abandonments: Wenheck v Nousseviller in Grand Est was abandoned after repeated incidents of flares being thrown. Calais FCHF v Raismes in Hauts-de-France was abandoned after alleged racist comments from specators.

We're now down to just ten District level clubs across 5 regions: Hauts-de-France (5), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (2), Méditerrannée (1), Occitanie (1) and Bretagne (1).

Two of these clubs are from D3 (tier 11): Olympique Maroilles (Escaut, Hauts-de-France) had a 1-0 win in one of the all-district level matches, against a side one division higher. Montluçon FC (Allier, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) beat R3 side AC Creuzier-le-Vieux 5-2.

Riantec OC (D1, Morbihan) beat AG Plouvorn (R2) 2-1
US St Mandrier (D1, Var) beat SC Courthézon (R1) 1-1 (4-3 pens)
ES Montcornet (D1, Aisne) beat OS Fives Lille (R2) 1-0

fff website says the entry for this season was 7010 clubs. My count, based on the number of matches in each round from your wiki page made it slightly higher, but I only counted match numbers and did not allow for byes or witdrawals.

1124 clubs received a set of 16 shirts in the fourth round, and 580 received shirts in the fifth round (562 round 4 winners and 18 National 1 clubs)

Another web site mentions that a win in the sixth round is worth a minimum of €7500 per club, I have seen no mention of prize money from earlier rounds.

I have 7046 clubs entering, including any which withdrew, folded or merged after the closing date for entries. This includes the 40 Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs who haven't joined yet.

I don't think there is prize money before the 6th round, but that 7500 Euros compares well with the 1500 Euros prize at the same stage last year.

There were two other abandonments: [..] Calais FCHF v Raismes in Hauts-de-France was abandoned after alleged racist comments from specators.

We're now down to just ten District level clubs across 5 regions: Hauts-de-France (5), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (2), Méditerrannée (1), Occitanie (1) and Bretagne (1).

Raismes have been thrown out of the competition for abandoning the field, regardless of the original allegations. Suspect this may be appealed.

But as of now, we have eleven District level clubs, with 6 in Hauts-de-France.

And the first qualifier to the seventh round is known: It is A.S. Vénus of Tahiti, who won the Coupe de Tahiti Nui at the weekend. They will participate in the Coupe de France for the first time since 1995.

Second qualifier is from Mayotte: FC Mtsapéré. They beat Olympique de Miréréni 5-1 in the final regional qualifying match on 12th October. They should travel to France for the 7th Round.

We will know the New Caledonian qualifier tomorrow, and the Martinique qualifiers on Wednesday 23rd. The rest of the 6th round matches are on 26th/27th October.

Assuming the next round goes ahead as scheduled (and I expect it will), the match is at Stade Julien Dennis. Calais FCHF are the current occupents of the old ground of RU Calais. Seeing red and yellow stripes on the club badge makes me suspect they are trying to appeal to the support of the old club.

The expected appeal materialised, but failed, and, according to one news source, the player who complained of hearing racist abuse was fined and suspended. So Calais FCHF will definitely play in the 6th round.

At least one sixth round match, the tie involving US Fourmies and either AS Beauvais or Roubaix OC in Hauts-de-France, will not take place this weekend as the fifth round tie between the clubs is still with the Disciplinary committee.

Golden Star are unusual, but not unique, in qualifying whilst in the second division of an overseas league.

This may particularly interest Liverpool supporters as the two teams will meet in the World Club Cup semi-final in Qatar in December if Hienghène Sport overcome Al-Sadd and Monterrey.

Main draw for the seventh round is at 11:30 CET today

Teams are split into 10 groups, with two Ligue 2 teams in each group, and the rest of the teams distributed to provide the best mix of levels and best geographical split.

Groups should be announced at 10:30 CET.

Full draw at https://en.wikipedia.org/...pe_de_France#Round_7

Two all second division ties - Lorient v Guingamp and Chateauroux v Niort.

Some of the matches with Division 2 away are my most likely venues.
Villemomble v Orleans, ASI Mûrs-Erigné v Caen and CSM Gennevilliers v Le Mans

The lowest survivor, Verton have a nice local tie (40 km) against National 3 side Stade Portel. Less than one hour from Calais!

Villemomble have been confirmed at their home stadium, but not the others you mention.

One 7th round tie has been altered today - FC Vaulx-en-Venlin penalised in their sixth round tie vs Olympique Valence.

EDIT: Verton will play at Le Touquet

For Gennevilliers, that is the main Olympic stadium as Yves du Manoir. I went in 2001 when Racing were using it in the National League, but currently used almost exclusively for Rugby.
Also spotted at non-standard stadiums, Betton CS v Concarneau in Cesson Sevigne - a Regional 1 ground
St Maximin v Valenciennes in Vineuil St Firmin - used by Chantilly in Regional 1
US La Charite v AUxerre at Stade Des Senets in Varennes Vauzelles, close to Nevers. I know Nevers-Banlay plays on an outside pitch here, but I am unaware of a team using the main stadium
Verton (as already mentioned) will play in Le Touquet

In addition, Reims Sainte Anne Chatillons will use their own ground, but this is in Cormontreuil, and only about 1 mile from their opponents ground.

No less than 8 second division teams fell at the weekend. Even allowing for two matches within the division, this is a bad haul

The two all Ligue-2 games finished Chateauroux 1-1 Niort (aet, 6-7 pens) and Lorient 3-0 Guingamp

Also defeated were Le Havre (home to National (tier 3) side USL Dunkerque by 1-3, Clermont by 1-0 at fourth tier Begerac Perigord, Ajaccio at fifth level St. Flour by 3-1, Grenoble by 2-1 at fourth tier Etoile Frejus Saint Raphael, Troyes at National League Bourg-en-Bresse (1-0) and Sochaux by 2-0 at fourth tier Epinal.

I think the National only lost two to teams from the lower leagues. Gazelec Ajaccio falling by 1-0 at ASM Belfort (tier 4), while Stade Lavallois lost 2-0 to seventh tier club ES Nanterre

Saint Pierroise will give Reunion a home match in Round 8, after winning at Jura Sud (tier 4), the other Reunion side, Sainte-Marienne lost at home to Versailles. Racing Besancon faced the longest trip, but still beat Venus away, (which is in Tahiti, not quite another planet). Evreux 27 and APSV Strasbourg won home matches against Mtsapere (Mayotte) and Hienghene Sport (New Caledonia) respectively

In the all Caribbean ties, all played at least a week ahead of the main matches (to avoid international commitments), Jeunesse Evolution (Guadeloupe), Club Franciscain (Martinique) and Saint Georges (French Guyana) came through. Like Saint Pierroise, Evolution will now be at home, while the other two will travel to mainland France

Belfort, Thaon and Évreux are the three candidate clubs for trips to Réunion or Guadeloupe in the 8th round. Draw is tomorrow at 14:00 CET.

Rest of the draw is Wednesday at 19:00 CET.

A reminder that if Club Franciscain or Saint Georges are drawn as the "home" side, or as the "away" side to a team two levels or more above them (which I assume means tier 4 in this case - there is no concept of what level the outre-mer leagues are at), they will play their match at a neutral ground "within 100km of Paris".

I also assume that the authorities will keep the two clubs apart when deciding the groups for the draw, but you never know.

The Ligue 2 clubs all avoided each other in the 8th round draw.

The five clubs from R2 and R3 mostly got very good draws:
Hombourg-Haut v Auxerre
Cournon d'Auvergne v Niort
Côte Chaude St Etienne v Le Puy Foot
Nanterre v Bastia-Borgo
Chilly v Fabrègues

AJ Saint-Georges of French Guiana will be looking for a ground to play against Saint-Pryvé Saint-Hilaire under the new rules - might be one to consider, Leo?

In fact, the game will be played at Saint Pryve Saint Hilaire's Stade du Grand Clos, a ground I visitied last season in the Coupe.

I am now aiming at Reims St. Anne v USL Dunkerque, it appears that Reims overcame a protest from their local rivals after they beat Cormontreuil on penalties. Was this that the numbers did not match the team sheet or was one of the players not on the team sheet?

AJ Saint-Georges of French Guiana will be looking for a ground to play against Saint-Pryvé Saint-Hilaire under the new rules - might be one to consider, Leo?

In fact, the game will be played at Saint Pryve Saint Hilaire's Stade du Grand Clos, a ground I visitied last season in the Coupe.

Appears to have been that a match shirt went missing before the game, so (in agreement with match officials) a player wore a shirt numbered differently to the one on the team sheet. Challenge was rejected as unfounded.

Just three 8th round games taking place at alternate grounds.
Hombourg-Haut v Auxerre at Sarreguemines
Chilly v Fabrègues at Rumilly
Marssac v Pau at Albi

The St Pryvé v Saint-Georges is an interesting case. It was originally drawn that way, but inversed shortly afterwards (presumably by the two-level rule) but now shows back with St Pryvé at home. Can't find a written explanation anywhere.
