E-Mail (titled as above) just received from Stuart Kempster. It is with deepest regret that I am E-mailing you (from my Dad’s account) to inform you that he passed away last night, peacefully at home. I’ll contact you again with more information on funeral and donation arrangements as Dad’s request once I know them. Kind Regards, Stuart
Just a note to anyone who is wondering, I am no longer a moderator of this forum due to current personal circumstances and work commitments. If you need help, contact leohoenig or Steve walker. Thank You.

Thank you for all you've done. You've brought entertainment and discussion to the boring close-season gap over the years, and helped many clubs along the way. RIP Slightly off topic but I sent an email to a number of governing bodies as well as the new secretary of state for culture, media and sport, asking that Tony be commended for the great work he has done over the years. If anyone wants the appropriate contact details and/or a rough template for an email, PM me.

I had been reading the posts about Tony for some time now, but this is the first time I am posting anything. Maybe I hoped that somehow, Tony would make a miraculous recovery, even at a very late stage. I didn't know Tony personally, and only had a couple of exchanges of posts with him, but I do feel the loss greatly. It is not merely the passing of a man, but the loss of the resources and resourcefulness that enabled him to develop his site into the most informative on the current state of the English leagues anywhere on the internet.

Very sad (but expected) news. Thanks for passing the information on to us, Stuart. Your father will be remember by a countless number of people for many years for all the work he has done in providing information about non-league football. You should be immensely proud of him. My thoughts are with you and with all your family at this time.

My thoughts and prayers are with Tony's family. They can be proud of what he achieved on behalf of football, the bringing together of so many disparate people with a common love for non-league football and for providing a lasting legacy to the game. He will be missed but not forgotten.
