Is this the same St Anselms that once got to the final of the London Sunday Intermediate Cup?

I also used to be Secretary of a Sunday side St Anselms (Southall) but as the FA Sunday Cup is for teams in the Premier Divisions of their League it never came up with our club

No connection, as the title says we were based in Southall originated from the Youth Club at St Anselms church, One season in the now defunct West London Deanery League before spending 2 seasons in the Ealing Youth League moving into mens football in 1982. After spells in The North Hillingdon and Hayes & District Leagues we joined the Marathon Sunday League where we enjoyed some success Winning the Division 5 League and Cup Double in 1992 before going through to Divisions by winning Divisions 4,3 and 2 in consecutive seasons. This was the peak of the team. Best performance in the County Cup was Quarter Finalists in The Middlesex Junior Trophy in 1991. The club eventually rejoined the Hayes & District League until it folded around 2003. During my time in the early 1990`s we reguarly issued Programmes for our League and Cup Games. The club continues to play occasional Vets games.

To be honest 130 applications to the FA Sunday Cup is pitifully low. Especially when one considers that one average sized Sunday league alone can have 40-60 clubs. So 130 applications nationwide is shocking. Shocked
