Officials calculate the capacity of the Wankdorf Stadium ahead of the 1954 World Cup.

I remember a story about how Wembley Stadium was tested before it opened in 1923. A few men, probably about 20, would stand side by side and jump up and down to simulate crowd movement. This would be done around the ground to test the structure. Old Wembley stood for nearly 80 years without problems so it must have worked.

The feeling of utter devastation when you pick up your mug and realise you already finished your tea.

Or how (the old) Wembley Stadium used to have a smaller capacity for Rugby League finals due to the fact that their spectators were 'larger'.

Pathe claimed 1,250 blokes took part in the "testing"

Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
