It looks like the top three divisions will be reserve free next season

Issues to be resolved
Bundesliga
Bayern are champions and Schalke runners-up
The other two champions league slots are up for grabs
Borussia Dortmund are in third, and travel to Hoffenheim (4th) on the final day
Dortmund's lead is 3 points and 3 goals, so this could be overturned by a 2-0 home win
Leverkusen, level on points with Hoffenheim, but three more goals adrift play Hannover on the final day
RB Leipzig are in 6th, needing points to confirm Europa League - but they are only two behind Hoffenheim and Leverkusen, so they could leapfrog the pair if they both lose.
Leipzig have 50 points and a goal difference of 0
That means their Europa League place is under threat from Eintracht Frankfurt (49, +1, Schalke (a)), VfB Stuttgart (48, -3, Munchen (a)) or even
Moenchengladbach (47, -4, Hamburg (a)). All of these also have an eye on the 7th place spot which will become a Europa League slot if Frankfurt lose the cup final to Bayern

Meanwhile, 1. FC Koln's dismal season finishes in last place. They travel to Wolfsburg who effectively need a draw to "clinch" the play off spot.
If Wolfsberg lose, then Hamburg could give themselves a last chance to save their unbroken Bundesliga record by winning in Moenchengladbach

2. Bundesliga
With two games to go, most things are up for grabs. Fortuna Dusseldorf are promoted but still trying for the title, Kaiserslautern go down
Get back to this after today's round of games

3. Liga
Magdeburg and Paderborn both promoted, but the title undecided. Karlsruher in the play off spot
RW Erfurt, Chemnitzer and the only reserve team, Werder Bremen go down.
For Paderborn to take the title, they need to win at Fortuna Koln and hope Magdeburg do not win at Lotte.

Regionalliga
Nord
The most complicated and the only one running beyond next weekend.
Also the only one with a reserve team in contention.
Weiche Flensburg hold a lead of two points and one goal over HSV II. They also have a game in hand
Altoner 93, Eutin and probably Hildesheim go down

Nord Ost
Cottbus champions, Luckenwalde and Neustrelitz to go down

West
KFC Urdingen lead by two points, Viktoria Koln have a better goal difference
Urdingen go to Wiedenbruck on the final day, Viktoria are at home to Monchengaldbach II

Westfalia Rhynern, Wegbeck-Beeck, and Erndtebruck down
Bonn (34, -16) could escape, especially if they pick up a midweek point or three at Wattenscheid
Fortuna Dusseldorf II (35, -17) and Koln II (37, -11) could fall - neither of these have a midweek game

Sudwest
Saarbrucken and Waldhof Mannheim have secured the play off spots
Rochling and Schott Mainz to go down
Probably either Stuttgart Kickers (33, -25, FSV Frankfurt (h)) or Hessen Kassel (35, -2, Stadtentallendorf (h)) will join them

Munchen
1860 Munchen start their road back having won the title
Unterfoehring relegated. According to Kicker, its two down, two in the play offs
Final fixtures are
Seligenporten (36, -17, Bayern II (a))
Memmingen (36, -13, Schalding-Heining (h))
Bayreuth (38, -23, 1860 Munchen (h))
1860 Rosenheim (40, -12, Burghausen (a))

What is the promotion process for the Regionalliga?
Am I correct in thinking that it’s via a promotion playoff between the top two? Apart from the league where there’s two promotion spots.

Hamburg relegated after 55 years in Bundesligatop flight.

It was just a matter of tome.

Nice to see a vast majority of the HSV fans turning on the idiots who had the game delayed for a short while by chucking flares on the pitch. The club needed this drop and probably should have gone a couple of years ago but will return stronger if they can sort out the mess that is going on behind the scenes.

I guess that stupid digital clock showing how long they've been in the Bundesliga will have stopped?

I thought the clock was a good way of highlighting their proud record, but there you go.

The same was said of Kaiserslautern a few years back. They have just been relegated to 3.Liga

5 of the 6 Regionalliga playoff clubs have previously played in 1.Bundesliga.

Weiche Flensburg, on the other hand, have reached their highest ever position this season. Their 'home' leg will be at the Holstein Stadion in Kiel.

>>>>>

Separately, the DFL have now granted a dispensation for Kiel themselves to use the stadium if they gain promotion to level 1. This is on the basis of plans for an additional stand to be in place by October, with a further increase in overall capacity to 18400 by summer 2019.

With Saarbrucken having been at Volklingen for the whole season, we have the curious situation where none of the first leg games are at the club's traditional stadiums

Could be a while to go back ?

''At the same time as the construction of the function building, the demolition of the lower tier of the North Stand will take place. Shortly thereafter, work on the west grandstand and starting in July for the East stand to Saarlandhalle, so that from mid-2018 already worked on all stands. The current plan includes the completion of the functional buildings as well as the south, west and east grandstand including the outdoor facilities for February 2020.''.

Inzwischen glückwünsche an Tim.

Wolfsburg and Aue both stay up.

Not a fan of reserve teams but I don't pretend that do not exist....

Not mentioned elsewhere on the thread, but Eintracht Braunschweig were the 2nd team relegated from the 2.Bundesliga, losing 6-2 in Kiel, having twice led early. There had also been drama at Darmstadt where the home side's 86th minute winner dropped Aue into the playoff at their expense, and a 90th minute equaliser for Heidenheim v Fuerth, which had the visitors looking over their shoulder, but ultimately OK.
In the Regionalliga playoffs:
Saarbrucken 4-5 (2-3,2-2) 1860 Munich
Weiche Flensburg 2-3 (2-3, 0-0) Energie Cottbus
KFC Uerdingen 3-0 (1-0, 2-0*) Waldhof Mannheim
Another year of pain for the Regionalliga Sudwest. They get two spots in this but the last victors from there were in 2013-4. Mannheim have lost the last 3 years at this stage and Saabrucken and Elversberg have 2 defeats in that time. This time, the Mannheim home game was abandoned due to fighting in the stands - I believe the home side are in some trouble over this.
Uerdingen are promoted and will groundshare next season at Duisburg.
In the Bayernliga playoffs, both Bayreuth and Memmingen held on to their Regionalliga Bayern status winning the playoffs v North/South sides.
The spots for promotion to Regionalliga Nord were won by Kiel II and VfL Oldenburg, after a round robin also involving the Bremen and Hamburg champions (well hiighest placed team interested in promotion).
For the Regionalliga Sudwest, the runners up in Hessen, Rheinland Pfalz and Baden-Wurttemberg played a head to head mini tournament. Despite winning 7-1 v Bayern Alzenau, Villingen lost 2-0 to Pirmasens, who'd drawn 0-0 with Alzenau, so it's Pirmasens who return to the Regionalliga Sudwest.

-----------------------------------------------
Last new football ground Clandeboye Park (859) Ards 2-2 Dungannon Swifts
With FC United: 130
On the agenda:
Nov 6: Clay Cross Town v Ashbourne
Nov 10: Hereford v FC United
