Line of Duty Can't Post or Reply Privately

Anyone else engrossed by this? Even better than series 1 in my view, and almost impossible to predict the ending just two episodes out.
Worth watching just for Vicky McClure.......Tongue

Was the first series where the WPC had tampered with some evidence?

Shall give it a go on iPlayer later on....

I've been watching it. It's been excellent but not too flattering to poor old Keeley Hawes.

Started watching it on my thigh pad at 1am - as previously stated, it's very engrossing and with no doubt lots
of twisty turny things still to come - can only be one or two episodes left methinks.

I agree with what you say about La Hawes - normally scrubs up well and not often you see her playing the 'dark' role.

Also engrossed in this. One of the best things I've ever seen on TV. So many twists and turns already and I'm sure more to follow in the final 2 episodes.

Okay - one episode to go. Who dunnit?

Fantastic 17-minute interrogation scene this week - utterly compelling.

Thoroughly gripped on this. Think my theory went completely out the window as I thought DCC Dryden killed the girl Carly, but if that was the case I think the series would have ended with this weeks episode. Latest theory is that DCI Denton killed Carly in jealousy finding the photo's of her with Dryden and also set the ambush up incriminating Dryden. Think that Dot may have been in on it with her but still lots of loose ends regarding the witness protection thing that I can't tie up. We shall see next week and Hope there is another twist to come. Definitely British Drama here at its best.

DI Cottan is my outside bet for the baddie prize. He's a white middle-aged male so he must be guilty of something.

Re: [chris41] Line of Duty [In reply to] Can't Post or Reply Privately

A-ha, but assuming Prasad and Cole were the helmeted gunmen, Denton didn't appear to know or recognise them when they kidnapped her. I think she's in on the girl's murder - if indeed she is dead; this could be another red herring as the girl was fostered so her "real" parent could be one of our suspects.
And is Tommy really dead - I suspect not somehow, and I reckon he and Dot are in cohoots, but to what end? Not sure either about the innocence of Akers' husband who has not featured for a couple of weeks now and he would have the contacts from his police college days to make the ambush happen (and make his wife go away?) - the money could have been his, not hers.......
All theories and all probably wide of the mark. As long as it's not Fleming -I'd like to see more of her Tongue

It's all far too difficult. Lets have less of this intelligent stuff and more reality TV....

Interesting that when Denton turned the tables on that interview whilst under arrest, she had info about Hastings financial difficulties and Arnott's affair with the nurse obtaining those photo's. She never though mentioned anything about Flemings affair with the husband of Akers which she would have had details of from getting her phone. She could easily have let on about that but didn't. Hope the final episode won't be a let down.
