Grandstand Frame - Scotland Can't Post or Reply Privately

I'm travelling on the intercity train out of Edinburgh travelling south. On my right hand side I say whst looks like the steel frame of a grandstand in a field but nothing else has been developed. It's near Prestonpans/Tranent.

Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Could it be at Meadowmill?

Not sure about the one at Prestonpans, but this one at Wallyford is clearly visible from the train

I think it was a golf driving range that ran out of money.

Really.

''The original plan for the greyhound stadium at Barbachlaw Farm, off Salters Road, was approved by the council in early 2005 as part of a new development area, which was to include business and industry, as well as housing.
However, the council included a condition that work had to start on the steel structure of the stadium before any housing could be built.
Development of the stadium stalled after the steel stand frame was put up with a major housing development subsequently built north-east of the site and developers said they needed to build more housing to finance the leisure project.''

2019/20. Benelux = Bel = 0-0-0-(0-0-0)-(0-2-3-2)/ Lux = 0-3 / Neth = 0-0-0-(2 - 2) Others France = 0-0 / Germany =0-0-0 / Italy =0-3/ Iberia = P = 0-1 & S = 0-1.

Quite correct Hoddy.

It's been sitting like that for 20 years or more - no chance now that a dog track will be developed there now.

The old Wallyford Dog Track doubled as Wallyford Bluebell's ground in the Juniors, before my time.

Yep missed the Juniors by about 25 years.

Noticed a team of that name joined the LEAFA Sunday league last season.
