Season's Greetings Can't Post or Reply Privately

For those doomsters amongst us who believe that winter is coming, I can confirm your fears.

Returning from a day trip to Holderness last Sunday, I noticed my first, freshly-painted 'Xmas Trees for sale' banner on a farm gate.

I am hoping to beat my Festive Sandwich record, currently held by Tesco in Marlborough who sold me a turkey and trimmings job on 15 October 2017.

Ho ho ho...!

I would say that I have already bought my Christmas cards for the next three years, but in reality I can never be bothered to send anySmile

The advantage of Halloween becoming more prevalent in the U.K. is that it at least reduces the floor space afforded Christmas Junk until November.

Expect to start seeing inflatable pumpkins very soon...

This year's black mark for the first 'book your Christmas party!' email was awarded to Leics CCC. It arrived on the 10th of June.

I've just put the sprouts on to cook.

I take it that they are Australian sprouts at this time of the year, in which case to keep the flavour in you'll need to cook them upside down.

Christmas cards were available in my local British Heart Foundation shop in August last year.

I think my sprouts are Icelandic, I bought them from Iceland.

I've delivered 4 different Christmas brochures in the last week to three different hotels. Still two to go.
