Looking at the list I see that the South West doesn't feature, despite Bristol City Women being an established WSL1 team. There are no games in the North East so can we assume that women's football isn't classed as a proper sport by fans in the Tyne & Wear region.

The feeling of utter devastation when you pick up your mug and realise you already finished your tea.

Seems a strange selection - two in Greater Manchester, two in South Yorkshire, two on the South Coast (I'm not going to add two in London as Wembley is only for the final) but great swathes of England missed out - the North East and South West as previously mentioned but also the vast majority of the Midlands (I don't really think of Milton Keynes as Midlands)

I agree, in some ways the spread does seem strange, especially two stadiums being chosen in South Yorkshire.

Maybe it reflects the enthusiasm and case-putting of the venues selected?

In a sense Bramall Lane is almost North Midlands rather than North. Since the time of the Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms Sheffield has been seen as being right on the boundary between North and Midlands.
