Durham Women 0-4 Sheffield United Women (0-2 HT) at New Ferens Park
Women's Super League Continental Cup Group Stage
Admission: Season ticket, Programme: Yes, Tea: 1.30
Attendance: no idea, 200ish

Missed out on the last two Durham matches so headed to Durham's first midweek home match of the season. Somewhat surprised they're allowed to have midweek matches here as the floodlights weren't very good, plenty of dark patches around and from a quick look there were a couple of bulbs out on each post. With referee Lucy Oliver also having to don a green bib to be seperated from the dark blue Durham shirts, there was an overall amateurish feeling which I'd imagine that the FA would want to be rid of in the second tier of women's football. On the pitch it was a fairly comfortable win for the visitors, although I don't think they were four goals better, Durham only had a few half chances in response. Two good goals, second one was a great free kick into the top corner by Aimee Palmer just before the interval, and the fourth a 30 yard volley by Maddy Cusack a couple of minutes before the end. Smooth journey there and back, train to Durham and then a 35 min walk.

Grounds visited: 303
Last new ground: Broadfields Stadium (Crawley Town)
Next planned fixture: Unsure
