Whatever your opinion on whether these divisions should exist certainly seems popular with the clubs judging by how many new are joining it season on season . Shipston Excelsior seem to have moved over from the Midland div 3 also there's a side from Inkberrow . Not sure if this has any connection with the Inkberrow in the Midland League .

Are you able to review this and add 'Reserves' to-some of the names - as it is VERY misleading in its current form (i.e. the Abingdons, Wantage, Flackwell Heath etc.

Interesting that they're attracting new clubs while the NLS is still evolving - must be doing something right! Worth noting that's only a draft constitution at this stage: https://hellenicleague.co.uk/club-news/hellenic/2806-20.html

The article also mentions no anticipated changes in the Hellenic's step 5/6 constitutions apart from the resignations of Brackley Saints, Didcot Dev, Marlow U and New College. FA will, of course, issue the step 1-6 constitutions in due course....I believe, but am not sure, it'll be on July 14.

Are Kidlington Dev the Division One team or a Reserve team of them.

SK appears to be a recruitment agency based in Inkberrow.

Interesting the likes of Kington, Woodcote and Watlington moving in.

Is that definitely Kington Town as in the former West Midlands Club and who were in the Herefordshire League last season? Seems a bit remote to be Hellenic League??

It is also an interesting question, with the supervision of these division now with the Counties, does each division come under different County umbrellas?

One would also question the situation if one County considered this as a feeder league, but another did not. It has already been mentioned that Gloucestershire wish to keep the Gloucestershire County League as the only feeder in county.

The question may be moot though as there are few, if any, non reserve/development teams with the ability to rise up to Step 6 on their own ground

It is indeed they have announced it on their twitter site . To be fair there a bit remote from everywhere . When i visited a few years back they felt like a proper small semi pro club . Proper ground and a decent turn out of fans . According to their twitter they are also currently carrying out ground improvements so hopefully they are stabilising after a few years in which they seem to have been in decline .

Can't comment on every club but Southam & Kington could both certainly make the step on there own grounds

I believe Southam wanted to move up this season.
Kington is a different case, a club that has been in th doldrums for years

The supervision of these division 2s looks like it's remaining with the Hellenic League, thereby remaining outside the system.

What will happen to these leagues, when the Hellenic Prem is shunted in a western direction and the FA scraps 1 of the Div1’s. Basically leaving the H1W and a few H1E clubs as the new step 6 league.

As the Hellenic Division 2 does not feed Hellenic Division One, perhaps they all stay in situ?

Every League has to be afiiliated to either the FA directly, or to a County.
In the past, any league with teams affiliated to four or more County FAs could affiliate directly to the FA. [This figure was given to me over 20 years ago, so it may have changed].

If I have understood the messages and the FA directive, they now believe all leagues below Step 6 should be affiliated only to a County, and they specifically stated that for the South Midland and Midland Leagues, the Feeder divisions would be treated differently to the Step 5/6 divisions. Hellenic was not mentioned as it was not a Step 7 league

One can imagine that Hellenic Division two might have to affiliate to a different county for each division

The Berks & Bucks FA are going to be busy, they have got clubs over leagues / divisions every where !
Think there is room for a nice Bucks County league along the A413 & beyond !!

Doesn't the North Bucks League already cover that footprint?

What happens at the moment.
The FA sanction the Step 5 and Step 6.
I would imagine the Division two sides are already sanctioned by a county.? Maybe.
I can not see the 4 division two divisions all being sanctioned by different FAs.
The member clubs can be affiliated to different FAs but surely the Hellenic League can only be sanctioned by one County FA or be sanctioned by the FA as their Step 5 and 6 divisions are.

The Hellenic would originally have been set up and affiliated to the Oxfordshire F. A. Each provisional division has at least one O. F. A registered club, literary one in one division.

No it is further north & not at step7. Was thinking about the clubs in the league constitution above plus some from the Thames Valley, SSML2 and the local leagues like the Wycombe. Probably the N Bucks would involve too much travelling but some could be included.
