Angela Merkel has said that German football can resume, although each German state will have the final say on when that happens

And they have made plans for the DFP- Pokal with the Semi-Finals to be played on June 16/17 and the final on June 27th. They are subject to the league finishing on June 20/21.

Looks like just over 300 will be allowed in with 98 in the interior (players, coaching and medical staff) 115 in the stands (including media) and 100 more within the stadium perimeter (security, and TV production staff)

Turkey looks like will be resuming a week or 2 after Germany, so end of May.

Round 26 and fixtures are unsurprisingly the way they were, they just need to sort out the televised games and ko times. Training camps tomorrow and quarenteened.

Two separate threads with the same info on NLM?? Never thought such a thing would ever happen.

No there were 2 until this one was started , now there's 3 all saying the same , this one a day behind.
If only a mod could lock 2 and put all in one.
Then again it's 3 threads for some posters to put the same info on isn't it ?

You asked people to stop doing it on #8 of The Foreign Leagues Still Playing thread on March 20th for all the good it did. But I do enjoy reading all about football on the telly 😩

There is an intention to resume football in Germany below the 2nd level. My German friend reckons that fans will be allowed below the Landesliga ie. level 7 and below. 0zu1 is showing some games scheduled from next weekend, though I think that will just be original ones not postponed.

Faroes League starting today. Visitors to the country (except Danes) are banned before at least June 29. Keeping my fingers crossed for early August, when I have flights booked. They now have a midweek round when I'm due there :)

2.Bundesliga game between Hannover and Dynamo Dresden on May 17th doesn't look like it can go ahead seeing as the entire Dresden squad and coaching staff have gone into two-week isolation after a couple of players tested positive for coronavirus.

No coincidence that Dresden are bottom of the league of course when hardly anyone is catching the virus anymore in Germany.

Germany is far from out of the woods yet as the reproduction rate has hit 1.1 with North Rhine-Westphalia reimposing some lockdown measures.

The tests concerning Dynamo are analyzed by an DFL appointed labority in the city of Jena, so one can say a neutral venue.

In a lot of social media over here the people do have many conspiracy theories.

It is all nonsens.

Brighton players aren't going to deliberately get themselves infected with COVID-19 and run the risk of losing their lives just to get the EPL to end the current season
